Fun factor on display in latest images

Renault is focusing on fun with the new Renaultsport Twingo, judging by these more detailed images released today.

The 131bhp mini-hot hatch can be specced up with more garish side graphics and pedals that mimic stereo controls, with the throttle representing 'play', the clutch 'pause' and the brake 'stop'.

Standard kit includes ESP, 16in alloy wheels, a leather steering wheel and Renaultsport front seats - but customers willing to spend an extra £650 over the £11,500 list price can enjoy the Cup chassis; it includes a lowered ride height, stiffer springs and dampers, and 17in alloy wheels.

We'll have first driving impressions on the car on Friday; in the meantime you can study the car in more detail in our extended gallery.
