Pricing revealed for Bentley's new flagship saloon

Bentley has confirmed its Mulsanne will cost from £220,000 when it goes on sale early next year.

Production of the new luxury saloon is scheduled to start in Crewe in the second quarter of 2010, with the first deliveries set top reach customers by the summer.

A new body construction facility has been built especially for the Mulsanne. The firm is offering its flagship with a choice of 114 exterior colours, 21 carpet colours, nine wood veneers and 24 interior leather hides.

Bentely’s sales and marketing board member Stuart McCullough says the firm has already received enough interest in the car to exceed its production targets for 2010.

So far, more than 1000 potential customers have privately viewed the Mulsanne at dealerships in the UK, Europe and the US, as well as at the firm’s Crewe headquarters.

With respect ... I suggest you go and see one before you jump to any conclusions about the Mulsanne. The wide angle lens photos here do do show off the style and proportions correctly.

In my opinion the RR Phantom and Ghost are "new money" - the Mulsanne is very much "old money"

p.s. there is no "e" in awful !

38carssofar, i 100% disagree with you.

I havent seen one in the flesh, but from what i have seen i think it looks aweful! I have ridden in a Phantom and think it was fantastic, given the money to buy one or the other, it would be the Rolls every single time.

The Mulsanne is just trying to hard and failing at it!

Re: Bentley Mulsanne from £220k

I had the pleasure of seeing the new Mulsanne in the flesh last Wednesday at Crewe.

It is absolutely stunning to look at and sit in. I am sure it will be a success - even at £220k +

It makes the RR Phantom look just a little crass ....
