New super-saloon is based on the latest Mercedes E-class

This is the Brabus E V12, a 789bhp super-saloon based on the nee E-class.

Power comes from a highly tuned 6.0-litre V12 twin turbo engine bored out to 6.3-litres, which produces 1047lb ft of torque to go with its 789bhp. Torque will be limited to 811lb ft as its gearbox can’t handle the maximum amount.

Engine and performance modifications include a new ECU and a four-pipe exhaust system. Fully adjustable sports suspension, new stabilizers and high-performance brakes also feature.

It rides on 19-inch alloy wheels, which are fitted with 255/35 tyres at the front and 285/35 ones at the rear.

Brabus has made major modifications to improve aerodynamics, engine ventilation, and brake cooling. Changes include a new front bumper, new wings, new side sills, and rear wheel covers. At the back, the car features a boot-mounted spoiler and a carbonfibre rear diffuser.

Inside it gets black leather seats, carbonfibre trim and an Alcantara lining.

The E V12 can get from 0-62mph in 3.7 secs, 0-124mph in 9.9 secs and 0-186mph in 23.9 secs. The top speed is limited to 217mph, but derestricted it can reach up to 230mph. Combined fuel economy is 18mpg, while its CO2 emissions are 372g/km.

Production will be limited to ten units, and the car will cost from 600,000 euro (£528,000).
