German compnay shows off its own 5-Series GT ahead of the official launch

Hamann has released pictures of its tuned version of the BMW 5-Series GT.

The German tuning firm hasn’t released any details to accompany its pictures of BMW’s new niche buster, so only the exterior styling changes are evident.

Hamann has modified the front and rear bumpers, upgraded the brakes and is offering a range of different alloy wheel options.

The standard BMW 5-Series GT comes with the choice of a 3.0-litre turbo petrol unit, a 4.4-litre twin turbo petrol or a 3.0-litre turbo diesel.

It was first seen as a concept model at Geneva in March and it will go on sale later this year.
