The RAC has displaced the AA from the top spot as Britain’s best breakdown service. In the influential JD Power customer satisfaction index, the RAC came top in 22 of the 23 key areas of performance, including helpline quality and mechanical ability. The RAC provides cover for 6.5 million customers across the UK.
