Motor show parade for London

London car fans can celebrate the return of the British Motor Show to the capital next Sunday (16 July) with a parade of 250 vehicles, worth around £10 million.

The line-up will include an eclectic mix of movie cars - such as Austin Powers' Mini and Judge Dredd's police car - as well as Ford model Ts, Rolls Royces, Bentleys and Aston Martins. Vintage London taxis will also join in - although it's hard to believe that a few of their modern cousins won't try to sneak through the parade to beat the traffic.

The parade will start at 2.30pm on Sunday 16 July, flagged away by Jodie Kidd. It will run from Hyde Park Corner down Piccadilly, on to Lower Regent's Street, into Cockspur Street and then Trafalgar Square. It should last around an hour.
