Design house behind the Flying Huntsman and Aston Martin DB9-based Vengeance unveils London Motor Show Edition Defender 90

Kahn Design has revealed a modified Land Rover Defender which features interior and exterior styling upgrades and a price tag of £65,000.

London Motor Show Edition Defender 90's bodywork has been bolstered with wide wings, body-coloured arche, 20in wheels and a new front bumper. Kahn has also fitted a new grille and hood vents.

The interior has bespoke sports seats, while the glove box, dashboard and other interior panels have been trimmed in the same striped fabric as the seat backs.

Other interior upgrades include a more luxurious clock, aluminium pedals and a billet and leather-trimmed steering wheel, while an upgraded sat-nav and a reversing camera make up the technological improvements.

A new exhaust system and four-speed automatic gearbox are coupled to the 2.2-litre diesel engine, the power and torque of which have been boosted by 10%, according to a Kahn spokesperson. Should the buyer wish, the standard diesel engine can be swapped out for a 6.2-litre V8, which is also used by Kahn's Flying Huntsman pick-up model, which was first seen at the 2015 Geneva motor show.

Production of the London Motor Show Edition Defender 90 is limited to one unit only, as Kahn celebrates the life of the Land Rover Defender with what it hopes will be a hit with car collectors.

Kahn also revealed new for the Jeep Wrangler to pick up where the Land Rover Defender left off as a partner model favoured by the design house. Kahn will continue to modify Defenders at owners' requests.

Kahn Defender

How to build a Kahn. Quilted leather interior, stupidly big wheels for an off roader with performance sticky tyres, ultra loud stereo system that even Iron Maiden would think would be too extreme for one of their gigs, and a silly body kit. Wonder if it's designed for lottery wining chavs.
