19 March 2007

The Geneva motor show might be over, but that doesn’t mean the new-car news stops coming. Here at Autocar, we’ve been chatting to some of the top people in the motor industry about everything from supercars to superminis, so you can hear all about your next car, straight from the people who’ll be making it. If you’d like to hear design boss Ian Callum’s vision of the future of Jaguar, including the facelifted XJ and the all-new XF, plus his views on motor shows, click here.If you prefer your sports cars with an Italian twist, you could listen to Maserati technical director Jean Luc Brossard discussing the gorgeous new GranTurismo coupe here. And if the Maserati’s not exotic enough for you, how about the crazy-looking Tramontana from Spain? We let communications director Xavier Lopez talk us round this mad tandem-seated roadster.Back in the real world, Joe Bakaj of Ford guides us around the new Mondeo, while GM’s Ed Welburn talks about the Opel GTC concept, and how it could become the next Vectra. We’ve also got British designer Peter Birtwhistle taking us on a whistle-stop tour of the new Mazda 2 supermini, which could be on your drive within 12 months. Finally, GM’s product czar Bob Lutz talks about hybrids, Toyota, and global warming. Trust us, it’s not all hot air.
