The gates have opened for the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed, with a long list of exotic and racing cars due to head up the famous hill in front of a capacity crowd.

In order to get you into the Goodwood spirit, we’ve created this Moving Motor Show gallery so you can keep up with the action as it happens. You can also watch live video footage on the feed below.

Over the course of the weekend, dozens of cars are due to make their world and UK debuts at Goodwood. View all of the new cars we’re expecting and catch more live footage of the day’s running here.

It's got a real Edsel thing going on!

Car Park A was without the roadways Goodwood often uses - net result mud, mud and more mud, cars getting stuck. Main site is muddy by the moving motor show and elsewhere. So, arrive in a 4x4, bring wellies, brolly and a mac.
