London has its own concours show, held at the Honourable Artillery Company HQ in central London. We've paid it a visit and rounded up the best of the show

London's City Concours is now under way, and we paid a visit to catch a glimpse at some of the country's rarest, most expensive and best-loved cars.

It's the first City Concours to take place, and it runs from 8-9 June at the Honourable Artillery Company's Central London headquarters. This year, the theme of the event is 'The Evolution of the Supercar'.

Take a look at our gallery showcasing some of the finest cars at the concours. Use the comments section to let us know which you'd like to own, given half the chance (and a substantial lottery win...).

Our Verdict

McLaren P1

With hybrid hypercars from Porsche and Ferrari on the horizon, the stakes couldn't be higher - so has the P1 risen to the challenge?

Love the De Tomaso Pantera. I almost bought one in the '90s and have regretted not doing so ever since!

looks so much nicer than the new vulgarities.

I need to get myself more involved in the circuit so I can keep tabs on when the next show is coming into town! It seems like I'm always missing the shows where the most supercars and vehicles are being shown! I can only dream that a big show will come somewhere near where I am! I would love to take some of my employees and clients on a trip to see them all!

Can you get up close to the cars or does the regular punter have to peer at them from behind a fence? The Classic & Sports Car show at Ally Pally last year offered amazing access to some very special cars.

So many great cars that barely turn a wheel.

What a waste of engineering...

I'm with Bob. If I were fortunate to be able to have a collection of cars I'd make sure they all took their turn at being driven.

I don't need to put my name here, it's on the left
