Included in the show are world-class designers Ian Callum from Jaguar and Laurens van den Acker from Renault, as well as brand bosses, such as Hyundai UK’s Tony Whitehorn and Ariel’s Simon Saunders.

Ferrari’s Raffaele de Simone is also on hand to talk about the tough life of a test driver, while ex-F1 racer Jonathan Palmer brings a motorsport angle to the table.

Autocar’s own Steve Cropley, Matt Burt and Matt Prior also evaluate the industry from a journalist’s perspective, making the recording unmissable for anyone with an interest in the world of cars.

“We were delighted to cover the Awards for the Motor Show, and we did it in our own way so we brought the spirit of fun and mischief to proceedings,” said Andy Jaye, presenter of the Motor Show. “When you consider that we spoke to nine CEOs, several supercar designers and some award-winning journalists, it is fantastic that they all entered into the spirit and made it a very entertaining evening.”

Can the turbocharged successor to the 458 raise the bar again, or have upstarts like the McLaren 650S and Honda NSX beaten it to the punch?

Matt Burt added: “As well as talking about the serious matter of the future of the car industry, I know they will have taken a light-hearted approach to interviewing our Award winners. I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the recording and look forward to hearing the final show.”
