This is the Alfa Romeo Pandion concept car, created by Stile Bertone's styling house.

The concept is based around the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione car and is one of two special Alfa concepts designed to celebrate the firm’s100th anniversary. A Pandion is a type of sea hawk.

Pininfarina is the other styling house producing a concept; its offering will be a two-seater spider.

Pininfarina reveals Alfa concept

Stile Bertone was left independent when Alfa’s parent company Fiat took over the manufacturing side of Bertone’s business.

Both concept cars cars are billed purely as prototypes and have not been earmarked for production.

Alfa’s 100th anniversary celebrations will also form the basis of this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

I love this sharp front end.....I wish Alfa would follow this design concept in the Guilia.....its looks great like the 159.....

Looks stunning from all angles but the front is magnificent. cleaning the back would drive me mad though.

But as with other concepts, how likely are we to see this on the road?

[/quote] hahaha......well you're right about the concept.....but i still hope they carry the front end to the road cars they develop in the future...

Tekkaman meets Boba Fett. Striking design though. I'd be rather worried about rear three quarter visibility when coming out of a parking or merging into a motorway. I hope that Alfa will survive.

more than a hint of BMW vision efficient dynamics, in my opinion!

exactly what I thought, but still an incredible car though!

I hope Alfa take influences from this concept when styling the front end of future cars. As much as I like Alfa, bug-eyed headlamps just don't do it for me. The current crop of Lancias are all ruined by bug-eyed headlamps and I don't understand why Alfa are going down the same path.
