Mini is about to launch an extended servicing offer to cover cars after the five-year TLC maintenance pack that comes with new cars runs out. Details of the new offer have yet to be finalised but it’s likely to cover cars for an extra two years for a fixed fee. Expect that sum to be more than the heavily subsidised £100 the new-car offer costs.Currently a staggering 98 per cent of new Mini buyers opt to take up the TLC pack, which covers servicing and MoT tests for five years or 50,000 miles.
