Leaked pictures of the Lamborghini Urus have leaked out, ahead of its debut at the Beijing motor show.
The pictures of the high-performance SUV mimics its latest supercar range, and is finished in the same red paint as the Lamborghini Aventador J, which received its debut at the Geneva motor show in March. The high-riding Lamborghini has similarities with the Range Rover Evoque, but is more elegant than the Porsche Cayenne.
The model is the spirtual successor to the LM002 4x4 from 1986, but unlike that model, Lamborghini is aiming for it to become a mainstream rival for the forthcoming Bentley Falcon.
No technical information has been released, but the Urus SUV is likely to be powered by a 5.2-litre V10 producing around 600bhp.

They should call it the 'LM003'.

Re: Lamborghini Urus leaks onto web
It appears they're going down the same route as the original Cayenne, grafting supercar styling onto an SUV.
I'm hoping this is the equivalent of a pirate DVD and the real thing looks better. I'm thouroughly underwhelmed so far, though. Terrible name too!

Re: Lamborghini Urus leaks onto web
The front looks a bit Porschey to me. The sides and back look quite Evoquey.

Re: Lamborghini Urus leaks onto web
I was a bit worried from early artists impressions that they'd do a Porsche and draft the sports car nose onto an SUV, and this appears to be the case. Can't say I'm a fan of the front, although the rest looks pretty good, in an enormous Evoque kind of way.
No doubt it'll be very impressive looking on the road.
The interior doesn't look like the most comfortable of places to spend a trans-continental drive though.

What a rivalry!
This, and Bentley Falcon! Which one looks more stupid, excessive, overdone, unnecessary....kitsch!

Wasn't it nice when certain brands stood for certain things, and what was that expression about someone being a giacomo-of-all-trades?
