Currently reading: Autocar name that car quiz - hard

We reckon these picture questions will challenge even the most ardent car fan's knowledge. Are we right?

Can you tell a Ferrari 458 Italia from a Ferrari 458 Speciale in the dark? Could you spot an Infiniti Q50 from 100 metres? And how's your knowledge of low-volume hand-built sports cars?

If you think you know your cars, then take a look at the picture gallery above and let us know the name of each car.

To take part all you need to do is scroll through the ten pictures above, register to use our commenting facility, and post the answers below. We'll let you know the correct answers tomorrow and shout the winner's name (or winners' names) from the roof tops. The more accurate detail you include, the higher we'll mark you.

In this second installment we've aimed at what we consider a mid-ranking level of knowledge and taken away the multiple choice element to the answers, just to make your brains ache a bit harder.

Feel free to use the commenting section to let us know if you'd like us to make it even harder or perhaps a bit easier in future, whether you prefer the questions to have multiple choice answers and any other comments.

If this level is too hard for you, try the Autocar name that car quiz - medium level.

And if that level is too hard for you, try the Autocar name that car quiz - easy level.
