The McLaren 12C MSO concept car has been revealed.
Posted on the company's Facebook page, the car has been created to showcase the bespoke specification services available to McLaren customers from the Special Operations division.
The concept features a revised bonnet, new front wing louvres, new rear wing vents and a uniquely shaped airbrake at the rear. To save weight, the additions are all created from carbonfibre, with titanium wheel bolts, oil and water filler caps shedding more weight from the 12C. New lightweight wheel designs complete the exterior.
McLaren hasn't said how much weight has been saved, but it's expected to be a mild reduction to the standard car's 1434kg kerb weight.
Inside, the company has added extra trim and a new instrument cluster made from carbonfibre.
McLaren hasn't said whether the car will be available to order, or whether the concept will become a production option in the future.
