Latest Korean hatch unveiled - and we've already driven it

This is the car that Hyundai hopes will persuade Europeans out of their Focuses, Golfs and Astras, revealed today (6 March) at the Geneva motor show, and we've already driven it.

Called the i30, Hyundai's new hatch is essentially a version of sister brand Kia's new Cee'd hatchback. Hyundai says its version is aimed slightly more upmarket, with an emphasis on comfort over a sporting drive.

From first impressions, it is slightly more comfort-oriented, reckons Autocar's Steve Cropley, but it doesn't have quite as sharp an image.
