The Aston Martin One-77 sells out before it has even been produced

Aston Martin says the £1 million One-77 has already sold out, before the first car has been produced.

The company says that more than 100 wealthy buyers have expressed serious interest in the One-77, but that it will only build 77 cars.

Aston describes the One-77 as being an extremely rare piece of ‘automotive art’, with a carbonfibre chassis and power set to come from a 700bhp version of the company’s V12.

According to a leaked document that purported to be a sales document, One-77 buyers pay a £200,000 deposit to secure their car. Each version will be built to a customer’s exact specification, with a large number of custom options meaning that no two examples of the car should be the same.

That's two and jealousy has an "a" in it.

All those bankers who bailed before the bank went crash have obviously got money to burn.
