It is powered by a 1.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine, averaging 62.8mpg and emitting 106g/km of CO2.

It is available with three and five doors.

Prices start from £9460 for the three-door car, a premium of £630 over the Aygo+ version on which it's based.

You obviously haven't been informed correctly, the Aygo manual hasn't been involved in the big recall.

Not quite true, have an AYGO with MMT - it was going back to the local dealer for some waater leak issues to be resolved (through seals & high level brake light) when I took it in I asked if they had received any info re the sticky pedal issue, was told that as it had MMT it could have. When I collected the car they confirmed it had been affected, and thay had done the mod.

A few days later I got a £20 M&S voucher as a gesture of apology, I'm happy with the car it's ideal for my local commute, economical, roomy and quiet enough it's only weakness is the relatively low power/torque which means speed scrubs off on the many west country hills where i live. it would be fantastic in East Anglia or Holland

My g/f brought one new in 2006 and first impression is what a smart mordern car it is, even after 5 years, still looking fresh now.

Really, where did she bring it from?
