Audi gears up: one week to new TT

Audi has confirmed that its new-generation TT will be officially revealed next Thursday evening (April 6).

The new car, which uses the same platform as the VW Golf, is said to have a longer wheelbase and wider track. Audi has released only a teaser image, but the new coupe is likely to feature the larger corporate grille, as well as a subtle evolution of its distinctive, clean side profile.

After its launch in Germany, Audi is expected to take the car to the New York motor show the following week. will be present at next Thursday's launch to bring you first details and images, as well as the views of our experts on what should be one of the most significant new cars so far this year. Details should emerge from 7pm UK time.
