There are now just six days until the motorsport season kicks off with the annual Autosport International show, packing racing cars, live action, supercars and legends into a sublime day out.

Road car fans will be catered for with a glut of launches, including world debuts of an all-new Caterham, three new Radicals and a new Ginetta, a UK debut for the new Nissan GT-R and a European show debut for the new BMW 1-series M Coupe.

Several top F1 teams will be sending their 2010 machines to the show – including Red Bull, Mercedes and Williams – and there will be a special display commemorating the history of McLaren Racing. You’ll also get a chance to take a close look at McLaren’s forthcoming MP4-12C road car.

Racing personalities include touring car aces Andy Priaulx and Jason Plato, as well as Le Mans winner Allan McNish, media personalities Murray Walker, Jake Humphrey and Martin Brundle and F1 legend Jody Scheckter.

And make sure you pop over to the Autocar stand at the show, where you will be able to get up close with three of 2010’s biggest stars: the Ferrari 458 Italia, Mercedes SLS AMG and Aston Martin Rapide. Our stand will also play host to the Mercedes 3D Experience, where you will see F1 race winner David Coulthard behind the wheel of the SLS.

As ever, Autosport’s Live Action Arena will feature some thrilling cars and fantastic driving, with all the action hosted by Plato and Tiff Needell.

Autocar is offering its subscribers the chance of front-row seats in the Live Action Arena throughout the weekend; simply quote the code PHR1 when booking your tickets. Those visiting on the Friday with a gold ticket should quote ASG4.

The show takes part at the NEC in Birmingham from 13-16 January, with the public days on the 15th and 16th. The doors are open from 9am to 6pm every day.
