The Mercedes SLS gullwing supercar, which was officially launched at the Frankfurt motor show today, will cost around £155,000 when it goes on sale next year.
Although the final sale price has yet to be confirmed, Mercedes sources have confirmed £155k as a ballpark figure.

That compares with the £193k price tag of the SLS's most obvious rival, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.

The AMG-engineered coupe is powered by a 563bhp 6.2-litre V8 that has 479lb ft of torque. That means it is capable of reaching 62mph from standstill in 3.8sec.

Finally a super Merc that i might actally want... It seems sensibly priced. But does'nt the Sl and Cl 65 cost about the same? Though they are more powerful

rosstpher;...it would be very nice to drive around in this car.....for me it would be a sense of achievement i.e. to get my businesses to the point where I can buy one of these.....that would be a big deal for me....
.....and if I got some female attention thrown in.....hey.......that would be nice also....!..the occassional flirty smile is always fun!...........
