Porsche's latest-generation GT3 received its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

Porsche's new 911 GT3 made its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The 3.8-litre, 196mph Porsche formed part of an expanded showcase from the German manufacturer, as it celebrated 50 years of the Porsche 911 at the festival. Joining the GT3 was a parade of 911s going through each of the car's seven generations.

Leading the procession was an original 1967 911 from Germany, which has represented the brand at events all over the world during the course of this year.

Several of Porsche's historic racers also took to the hill, celebrating 90 years of Le Mans. A 911 GT1 from 1998, and the 1987 962 were both on display for the crowds. The 1970 917 KH was also reunited with its driving team of Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood on the hill.

Visitors to the Festival of Speed will also get to experience Porsche's Cayenne first-hand, as it carries out demonstration runs around the Goodwood estate.
