There are too many hot hatches that I've wanted over the years.

The best hatch ever is surely the Megane R26R but its not on your list

How can the Clio 200 Cup (Mk3), Megane R26R or Honda Civic Type-r (ep3) not even be on the list! Obviously it's entirely opinion based but what a load of rubbish your list is, not to mention the order of merit. Shame on you!

Back in the 80s I had a 1.9 Peugeot 205 GTI with a conversion called the cheetah . Think the garage was down Aldershot ?

Think the mag may have still been called Motor back then and you did a article on the conversion.

Power up from 130 to 150 BHP, even 16 valve golf GTI could not live with it.

Small sticker on the side  was the only clue on what it was.

Wonderful car

Still wouldn't mind an Astra GTE with a moderate remap... torque steer high jinks!
