Two Formula One trailers from the defunct US F1 team are for sale on eBay with no reserve.
The trailers were bought by US F1 from Brawn GP at the end of the 2009 season. Both trailers still have the Brawn livery on the side, as well as fully kitted out interiors.
One trailer contains an office with space for 10 engineers. The other has a machine shop and room for three race cars and equipment.
The trailers are being sold off after a British creditor got a court order to seize them from the holding company of US F1, which failed in its bid to make the grid for this year’s grand prix opener in March.
The trailers were the only assets the US F1 team had in the UK and so the High Court allowed them to be sold off.
When new, the trailers carried a price tag of around £300,000 each, but they are expected to go for much less than that on eBay.
Bidders have until Friday morning to bid for the trailers.

As for should they have been resprayed in Merc colours? Just think that a big team (as they surely must be considered now) will have more funds than the lower ones. So those entering F1 would have picked up a bargin with these.
