The best new car deals and new car leasing offers for this week, including deals on the Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra, Kia Soul, Jaguar XF and Volvo S60
5 June 2014

If you’re in the market for a new car, or after the best new-car leasing deal, you can save thousands with a little research. This is the pick of what our deals experts have found this week.

Best new car deals

We already know Vauxhall is working on the next-generation of its popular Astra, but as it’s not due until 2016, you could fill the gap with some great deals on the existing model. We found one example from UK Car Discount, which is offering a 1.6i 16V SRi auto hatchback model for £14,786 – saving you £6079 on the list price.

Ford is also ready to replace its mid-market hatch, but the existing Focus is still one of the most popular cars on sale today. GB Car deals is offering £4,756 off a 1.6TDCi 115 Zetec Navigator estate, bringing the price to a much lower £15,788.

If you're on the look out for something that's both practical and stylish, how about a new Kia Soul? We found it to be a “well finished, well priced and perfectly habitable car with plenty of kerbside appeal” when we put it through our road test. Yes Lease is currently offering a 1.6 GDi 2 model for £241 per month on a two-year contract, with an initial payment of £725 and with a 10,000-mile annual limit.

Jaguar may have a revised XF waiting in the wings for next year, but the current version is still a fine car and offers an alternative to the obvious choices from German manufacturers. We found this two-year contract offer from Fleet Prices, which works out at £471 per month, with an up-front payment of £1,414. Again, there's a 10,000-mile limit.

Deal of the week

Volvo's S60 is one of our favourite compact executive models, and makes a fitting rival to the likes of the BMW 3-series, Mercedes-Benz C-class and Audi A4. We spotted a deal from Buyacar.co.uk, offering a D5 saloon model in R-Design Lux Nav Geartronic specification for £26,686 - a massive saving of over £8000 from the list price.
