New Mumbai showroom will sell the entire Aston range and means the firm now sells in 42 countries

Aston Martin has opened its first dealership in India.

The British sports car maker’s Mumbai showroom will showcase the entire Aston range, including the new Virage and V8 Vantage S models.

Aston now sells its cars through 134 dealers in 42 countries and has also recently expanded into countries including Brazil, Chile and Taiwan.

Aston says it is “seeking continued growth in new markets as well as emerging markets including China and the Middle East”.

Aston’s commercial chief Michael van der Sande added: “Our decision to bring the Aston Martin brand to India is driven by a strong level of interest and enthusiasm from potential customers in an emerging luxury market.”
