Jaecoo and Omoda owner signs deal to build cars on spare line at Nissan's UK plant

Nissan is set to start building Chinese cars at its Sunderland factory from next year as part of a new deal with Chery.

The two firms have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with a view to start building Chery vehicles on the Wearside plant's Line One in the 2027 financial year.
