This camouflaged Smart prototype spied in southern Germany shows off the next facelift for the Smart ForTwo city car.
The Smart ForTwo was introduced in late 2006 and underwent a small revamp in 2010, gaining LED daytime running lights and new body colours.

This new version is testing in readiness for a planned launch at the tail-end of this year. A package of mild tweaks will include a new front bumper and grille design.
The Smart logo has moved from the bonnet to the middle of the grille, as seen on the Smart ForTwo electric drive revealed late last year.
Smart is still working on an all-new ForTwo design for 2013-2014, already teased as a curvy concept at the 2011 Frankfurt show and developed in a new direction by a pick-up concept seen at Detroit earlier this month.

Re: Spy pictures: Smart ForTwo
Followed a newly registered Smart this afternoon. The new rear will be a decent improvement I think.
