The Peugeot RCZ R will be the most powerful road car in Peugeot’s history. The car will make its public premiere at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The RCZ R is an evolution of the Peugeot RCZ, and is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine developing 260bhp. Peugeot claims CO2 emissions of 155g/km.
No performance data has been released but the current range topper, the RCZ THP 200, achieves 0-62mph in a 7.6sec and a top speed of 146mph.
The Peugeot RCZ R features a bespoke suspension setup and a Torsen limited slip differential. An alloy wheel design, specific to this model, will also be fitted.
Peugeot previewed the RCZ R at the Paris and Geneva motor shows, with a distinctive matt black and copper livery.
