Vauxhall’s best-selling model, the Corsa supermini, is getting a minor cosmetic facelift for deliveries from March next year.
A new bumper moulding with a wider lower grille and ‘eagle eye’ headlamps are the main changes, although five bright new body colours will also raise the Corsa’s profile next spring. Daytime running lights and extra chrome boost the presence of the current Corsa, now in its fourth year.

Also new are redesigned Griffin badges and 16-inch alloys on the SE and SXi, while the VXR model gets new 18-inch designs, inspired by those on the Insignia VXR.
Inside, it gets the latest multimedia ‘Touch and Connect’ technology, a pointer to the equipment that will be the centrepiece of Vauxhall’s 2013 Junior city car.

Based around a five-inch touch-screen display, it controls sat-nav, CD/tuner, aux-in, USB and Bluetooth phone connectivity.
There are no chassis changes, as Vauxhall heavily revised the Corsa earlier in the year with a new rear axle, revised spring/damper settings, a new steering set-up and geometry and new bushes for the redesigned front anti-roll bar.
Prices are up slightly by about £70 per model.
