28 September 2009

Felipe Massa will make a return to race action in November when he competes in a kart event in Brazil.

The Ferrari driver, who has been out of action since he fractured his skull during the Hungarian grand prix, will take part in the kart race in Florianopolis from November 27 to 29.

Speaking in a promotional video for the event, the Brazilian said: "I'm going to take part again in the challenge of the stars, which is one of the most trendy end-of-year events.

"It's an incredible party, they get the best drivers together in all categories in the world: Formula 1, Formula Indy, stock car."

Massa is expected to make his return to Formula One next year.
