Nissan has shown this teaser image of the Nissan Pathfinder concept, which makes its world debut at the Detroit motor show in January.
The teaser image reveals a sleeker, more aerodynamic exterior compared with the rugged-looking outgoing model, although Nissan insists the new model will stay true to the model’s traditional SUV hallmarks.

‘Thoughtful technology’ and a new platform will also feature in the new model as will ‘seating for seven and ample cargo room.’
Sales of the next-gen Nissan Pathfinder are set for autumn 2012. Prices are yet to be announced, but the current entry-level 2.5dCi 190 Acenta Pathfinder starts from £32k.
