The Mercedes SLS gullwing supercar, which was officially launched at the Frankfurt motor show today, will cost around £155,000 when it goes on sale next year.
Although the final sale price has yet to be confirmed, Mercedes sources have confirmed £155k as a ballpark figure.
That compares with the £193k price tag of the SLS's most obvious rival, the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
The AMG-engineered coupe is powered by a 563bhp 6.2-litre V8 that has 479lb ft of torque. That means it is capable of reaching 62mph from standstill in 3.8sec.
