Pagani Huayra is just an
Pagani Huayra is just an amazing, cheap with superb design. Loved it.
GT86 all the way......
... simply for showing that cars can still be fun without paying vast sums of money
Autocar V men in the street
Those posted clearly from the desk jockeys in Autocar. For me the Polo beats the Golf. The Scoobie better than the 86 version simply because it is a Scoobie - With the exception of the Duster, and possibly Panda, the rest are either excessively expensive and we poor sods cant afford them, or grossly indulgent one day cars and are as a consequence of no serious interest.. so I will vote for the DUSTER because it does bloody everything you need in all conditions on all roads for bugger all money
what's life without imagination
GT86
GT86 for sure. Bringing fun coupes back to the Toyota lineup.
@jason_recliner , Golfs are generally overrated - especially by Autocar. However the Corolla is not available in the UK, the Auris is it's replacement. Ireland still gets the Corolla saloon though.
New Golf sounds like a superb car - close to perfect
New Corolla also deserves a mention. Not as good as Golf but priced 20%+ lower, at least here in Australia. It will no doubt be more reliable (i.e. better engineered) and cheaper to run, too.
Morgan 3 wheeler FFS
Is this favourite car of 2012 or 1933?
And?
We, or most of us anyway, can only go on what's tested here,so, we're picking our fav car only, the 3 series for it's real world performance, and for me anyway, something totally frivolous, the Pagani.
Peter Cavellini.
Agreed on the Alpina D5
I agree with gpt on the Alpina D5. When cars like the RS4 and the BMW 3 made the list I really expected to see the Alpina D5. It probably is the best riding bmw today and it does come at a reasonable price when compared to its rivals. Still, seeing the Toyota GT86 in the list I realised that the Toyota is the superior car... I think that the Alpina at least deserved a nomination.
