Mustang for less than £40k? Yes please

If Ford’s £160k GT is a little out of your price range, do you fancy 450bhp for under £40k? The power will come from Blue Oval’s Shelby Cobra GT500 Mustang when it hits Ford’s US dealerships late next year.

And eighteen months ahead of launch, Kent Car Imports have tracked down a US dealer that will take deposits from the UK and will put the supercharged 5.4-litre coupé on your driveway, taxed and approved as a left-hand drive, for just £37,060.

Kent Car Imports Managing Director Tristan Walker has warned Autocar that any interested parties should act quickly.

‘Most US dealers are expecting only six to eight vehicles a year,’ he said, ‘and more than half of the quota of our supplying dealer has already been sold.
