Hot version of new baby estate on show at this week's Worthersee event in Austria

Seat has revealed a Bocanegra version of its new Ibiza ST at the Worthersee VW Group event in Austria.

Like the hatchback, changes to the Bocanegra ST over the standard model are mainly cosmetic. That means it gets styling tweaks including black headlight surrounds, a black central grille and black mesh surrounds.

There are also body-coloured bumpers, black door mirror housings, a dark tinted glass sunroof, and Bocanegra badging on the rear hatch. The interior gets a three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel, aluminium-finished pedals, sports seats and decals.

Seat has also displayed "an extensive package of accessories" for the Ibiza ST at Worthersee, alongside the Seat Leon Supercopa race car from its one-make European race series.

The Seat Ibiza is good looking, well-priced and spacious supermini that doesn’t quite live up to Seat’s sporty image

very niche vehicle. Not much point them bringing this to the UK.

On the contrary, this is the first SEAT i have been interested in for years. A small (ish), stylish, fast estate car with a great name is exactly what SEAT should be selling us.

Some good Med flair and a concept not duplicated elsewhere in VW`s vast empire. A few more of these inspired ideas and you might just save your bacon SEAT.

No market for a car like this, supermini estates are slow sellers as it is, combine that with a high power petrol engine and it becomes a very niche vehicle. Not much point them bringing this to the UK.

Re: Seat plans Ibiza Bocanegra ST

Fugly, Seat are one brand that really have lost the plot, too many cars of a similar size and looks selling into an overcrowded segment. How come it takes the so called bargain basement brand within VAG to show the way to the more established brands within the group?
