Toyota has put the plans of its completed 2010 Formula One car up for sale, after pulling out of the sport last week.

French newspaper Le Parisien claims the Cologne-based team has already fully completed the design of its TF110 and the manufacturer is now looking to offload the data to one of the sport’s new teams.

There are currently four new teams lined up for next season: Lotus, Campos, USF1 and Manor. Of the four, USF1 and Manor are most likely to be interested in taking on the Toyota, as Lotus and Campos already have contractors developing their 2010 machinery.

Another team, Lola, is believed to also have a chassis design for sale after its entry for 2010 was rejected by the FIA.

Toyota exited the sport last week to shift its attention towards its core road car business. The firm’s new CEO Akio Toyoda has said the firm will concentrate on building “fun” cars again.

The first evidence of this will be the Lexus LFA supercar and this will be followed by the FT-86 rear-drive coupe, co-developed with Subaru.
