Land Rover's Discovery Sport is the most popular review on autocar.co.uk this week

Land Rover's Discovery Sport has topped the list of the most viewed reviews on Autocar for the week ending 7 August. Read below to find out what joined it in the top five.

1 - Land Rover Discovery Sport TD4 180

The latest derivative of the Land Rover Discovery Sport has jumped to the top of our list of the most popular reviews, despite only going live in the latter half of the week.

Land Rover's replacement for the Freelander is an extension of the Land Rover Discovery family and is fighting in one of the most competitive segments that includes Audi's Audi Q5 and the BMW X3.

This model is powered by the firm's latest Euro6-compliant Ingenium 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine, which improives on the 2.2-litre oil burner in every aspect.

2- Nissan Juke R 2.0

Slotting on to our website at the end of last week, Nissan's bonkers Juke R 2.0 is vying for pole position on this week's rankings.

3 - Cadillac CTS-V

American muscle cars always go down well with Autocar and so it is with Cadillac's latest BMW M5-rivalling CTS-V.

It's powered by ludicrous 6.2-litre supercharged V8 motor, which pumps out 640bhp and 630lb ft of torque. And the bootlid is fitted with a tall spoiler for 200mph stability...

4 - Ford S-Max 1.5 Ecoboost SCTi 160

An impressive showing by the American car maker's 2015 S-Max, and another recent review that's shot up the rankings.

Like the compact crossover market, the small MPV segment is another lucrative area that mainstream car manufacturers are keen to tap into. Which is why Ford has launched its latest S-Max with a smaller petrol powertrain.

5 - Jeep Renegade

Jeep has tasted the compact crossover blood and wants a slice of the action, after parent company Fiat Chrysler launched the Fiat 500X

The Renegade may not be the most popular car in its segment and you'll do well to spot one on UK roads. However, variety is the spice of life and the Renegade has no small amount of charm.
