Luca de Meo

Luca de Meo is the CEO of Renault Group. He has 30 years of experience in the automotive sector, including roles at Toyota, Fiat, Lancia, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, VW, Audi and Seat.

Born in Milan, Italy, in 1967, de Meo graduated from the Luigi Bocconi Commercial University with a degree in business administration.

In 2009, he joined the Volkswagen Group as Marketing Director before becoming a member of the Board of Directors in charge of Sales and Marketing at Audi in 2012.

From November 2015 until January 2020, de Meo was Chairman of the Executive Committee of SEAT, member of the Supervisory Boards of Ducati and Lamborghini and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Volkswagen Group in Spain.

He was then appointed CEO of Renault in 2020, and is also the President of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA).
