Special edition Landmark models will be launched in the UK in January

Land Rover has revealed these special ‘Landmark’ limited editions of its Discovery 4 off-roader.

The Landmark models, dubbed Black and White because of the two special colour themes on offer, will reach UK showrooms in January priced from £46,945.

Land Rover design boss Gerry McGovern said the models had been launched to offer customers “more choice” and to bring a “new, bolder, more contemporary edge to the design, offering a higher level of luxury in the cabin”.

As the names suggest, two colour schemes are offered: Santorini black and Fuji White. Interior leather options include Ebony and Ivory, a first for the Discovery.

Exterior additions include a Santorini Black finish for the front grille, gloss black diamond-turned 20-inch alloys, privacy glass and Satin Black extended roof rails.

Powering Landmark models is the firm’s 3.0-litre SDV6 twin-turbo diesel.

Do they even read the crap they spout?

1. Two colour choices - black or white

2. 20" alloys

3. White leather upholstery

4. Tinted windows

Maybe they should have named it the 'Premiership Edition'.

Does every Land Rover/Range Rover model now have to be aimed at footballers?

Mmm, ivory leather - tasteful & hugely practical in an off on-roader..

The white one looks like a chest freezer.

Don't think you could have disappointed me anymore than you already have in recent times so these packs are no surprise to me.

"Fashion" is obviously order of the day at LR. Sick of it.

So basically they are offering Drug Dealer or Division 4 teenage WAG spec?

19 November 2010

It's presumably going to have a devastating effect on Range Rover Sport sales... unless the drug dealers and WAGs have one of each.
