Peugeot has launched its versatile new Bipper Tepee five-seat MPV.

The Peugeot Bipper Tepee has a choice of a 1.4-litre HDi engine or a 1.4-litre petrol engine. The 70bhp diesel has CO2 emissions of 119g/km (qualifying it for £35 road tax) and combined fuel economy of 62.8mpg. The engine is mated to either a five-speed manual or an electronically controlled five-speed manual.

The 8v petrol unit has CO2 emissions of 155g/km and combined economy of 42.8mpg. Its 0-62mph time is 16.6secs and the engine is mated to a five-speed manual.

The load area has a capacity of 356 litres under the rear parcel shelf, which can be expanded to 884 litres with the 60/40 split rear bench seat folded. The rear seats can be removed and access to the rear is made easier by its sliding side doors.

Two trim levels are offered – S and Outdoor – and standard kit includes 15-inch steel wheels, ABS, CD player with MP3 compatibility and heated door mirrors.

The Bipper Tepee is on sale now, priced from £9995.
