Salon Prive is a small event, with 3500 visitors over three days, but attendance this year was up 26 per cent. It includes a super car show and Concours d'Elegance.

The Jaguar XJ made its first public appearance and the production version of the Veritas was unveiled for the first time, now featuring a BMW V10 from the M5.

Celebrities at the exclusive event, which costs £125 a head, were fellow Ferrari fans Chris Evans and musician Jay Kay.
