Prius will become an even bigger nameplate in the US than Camry, according to Toyota's US sales director Jim Lentz.
Speaking after the unveiling of the sporty FT-CH concept, which could be used as a starting point for the long-rumoured Toyota Prius coupe to rival Honda’s upcoming CR-Z, Lentz said: “We're developing a Prius family to take advantage of the Prius brand.

“There are more models planned and FT-CH is a concept that we are considering. I think in the future the number one nameplate in the US will be Prius, not Camry."
