Geneva motor show: Subaru Impreza XV

Subaru has launched an Impreza crossover at the Geneva motor show.
The Subaru Impreza XV will be for Europe only and is likely to be based on the US’s Outback Sport model.
It will get a raised ground clearance, a new front grille and wheelarches, a roof spoiler and roof rails.
The XV will come with either a 2.0-litre petrol or 2.0-litre turbodiesel. Both engines are Euro5-compliant.
No one from Subaru was immediately available for comment on whether the XV will be sold in the UK.
European sales will begin this summer.
