This year at the New York motor show, it was Jaguar and Lexus that caused the biggest stir. The Shanghai show - on in the same week - stole most of New York's limelight, but here's a run through what you might have missed in our definitive A-Z guide.

BMW
The German car maker announced the introduction of a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged engine for the Z4 range at the New York motor show.
Cadillac
Cadillac revealed its facelifted version of the Cadillac CTS at the show. New features of the CTS include a revised V6 engine, new grille and a touring package edition.
Chrysler
Chrysler's revised 200 S models also featured at the show. They come with a new 3.6-litre engine, revised suspension and S badging.
Jaguar
The British car maker treated show goers to the new Jaguar XK and also the next-generation XF. The revised XK gets the hardcore 543bhp flagship model that'll hit 100mph in a claimed 8.7sec, while the XF gets fresher looks and an eight-speed auto 'box on diesels. We also learnt that Jaguar will launch 40 new and revised models and powertrains by 2016.
Jeep
Jeep’s fastest-ever model, the Grand Cherokee SRT8, made its official debut at the New York show. It uses a new 6.4-litre V8 engine, which produces 459bhp, giving the 4x4 a claimed 0-60mph time of an impressive 4.8sec.
Kia
New from Kia was this facelifted Kia Soul, which features revised engines and a new six-speed manual 'box for the UK.
Lexus
The firm's new mid-size Lexus saloon appeared in concept guise at the show. Dubbed Lexus LF-Gh, it previews the new GS and shows the latest direction for Lexus's L-Finesse design philosophy.
Mazda
Japanese car maker Mazda brought us the Mazda 3 facelift. Revisions to the car include the adoption – for the first time - of the firm’s SkyActiv petrol engines as well as a fresher face.
