RUF has launched its latest version of the Porsche 997.
It’s been five years since the German tuning firm released its last 997 variant and the RUF Rt 12 S is an upgrade of that model.
The Rt 12 S is powered by a modified twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre flat six, which produces a mighty 675bhp and 649lb ft of torque.

Styling changes include new side mirrors, a larger carbonfibre rear spoiler and a new rear bumper with sculpted air intakes. LED lights feature at the front and rear, while the indicator lights are also LEDs.
RUF has added 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels, which house the ceramic disc brakes. Other standard features include a rollcage and hydraulic suspension which can lower the Rt 12 S at the touch of a button.
Buyers have the option of sports or bucket seats, while the interior has been designed to provide “fatigue-proof driving”. Three trim options are offered, which include carbon, aluminium and varnish.
Prices for the RUF Rt 12 S start at 255,900 euros (£220,000) excluding taxes and it is available to order now.
