Porsche has announced record yearly profits of €933m (£647m), despite the cost of launching the Cayenne (below). Weissach’s first off-roader has contributed heavily to the sale of 66,803 Porsches this year, a rise of 22.3 per cent, and the company expects the addition of the GT3 RS (shown right), Turbo cabrio, and 200mph Carrera GT to boost sales even further next year.
