Injured Ferrari F1 driver heads home

Injured Ferrari F1 driver Felipe Massa has been discharged from the AEK hospital in Budapest and is flying back to his home in Brazil today.

The F1 driver has spent a total of nine days in hospital, the first part of which was spent in intensive care.

His personal doctor, Dino Altmann, and his pregnant wife, Rafaela, are travelling with him.

Massa, who will be replaced by Michael Schumacher at the European Grand Prix, will give his first interview since the accident later today.
