Pictures of the new Mercedes S63 AMG leaked on the internet

The 2014 Mercedes S63 AMG has again been leaked in internet photos, having already been accidentally revealed in a promotional video.

The video, which announces the start of new S-class production at Mercedes’ Sindelfingen facility in Germany, shows a worker driving the car off the production line.

A first look at the hottest S-class variant shows the car will feature a few visual clues as to its performance potential. The video reveals larger AMG alloy wheels and S63 badging.

Like the current car, it will be powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 engine. It is likely to develop 536bhp or 563bhp when specified with an optional performance upgrade.

A four-wheel-drive 4Matic version will be available, but the UK market will only receive the S63 in a rear-drive configuration.

Although reportedly taken from a Mercedes-Benz press release on the car, the absence of on-car badging on these photos have led internet rumours to suggest they may not be official.
